Jim Moret is the chief correspondent for the syndicated television news magazine Inside Edition. Jim has covered entertainment news and traditional hard news stories for over 25 years. He is a regular guest contributor, legal analyst and guest-host on CNN, HLN, Fox News Channel, Court TV, MSNBC, and has covered some of the most high profile trials. Jim graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a degree in Communication Studies and received a J.D. from Southwestern Law School.

Before joining Inside Edition, Jim was with KABC-CNN where he hosted Showbiz Today and co-anchored The World Today. After leaving CNN, he hosted a series of specials for ABC, and, for three years, co-hosted the Academy Awards pre-show for the network. He has also been a guest anchor on the KTLA Morning News in Los Angeles, and on Fox 5's Good Day New York. Jim is the author of an inspirational memoir entitled The Last Day of My Life, published by Phoenix Books and launched on January 5, 2010. A member of the California Bar, Jim resides in Beverly Hills with his wife, Keri.
