• Content You Share: Posts, event registrations, messages, or uploaded files.
• Technical Data: Cookies, analytics, and log files (as provided by Hivebrite, our platform provider). We retain personal information only as long as necessary to provide the App’s services, comply with legal obligations, or fulfill legitimate organizational purposes.

• To connect affiliates, clubs, and organizations worldwide.

• To improve our services and support WYC’s mission.We process information based on your consent, our contractual obligations to provide the App, our legitimate interests in supporting WYC’s mission, or as required by law.

• Other WYC affiliates, clubs, and users (based on your profile and privacysettings).
• Service providers (including Hivebrite, which powers the App).
• Other trusted third-party subprocessors that support our services, understrict data protection agreements.
• When required by law, or to protect rights, safety, or security. We do not sell your personal information.

‍Data is stored securely through Hivebrite’s systems. While we take reasonable measures to protect data, no system is completely secure. If we learn of a data breach that may affect your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

‍As a global organization, WYC may transfer information across countries. By using the App, you consent to these transfers.When data is transferred internationally, we use appropriate safeguards (such as contractual protections) to protect your information in compliance with applicable laws.

Child Safety Standards

Any explicit content or child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) is strongly prohibited on our application.

Compliance with Child Safety laws & reporting Our app complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations.
Our app ensures all content shared within the app is appropriate for a mixed audience, including children. User-generated content is moderated to prevent inappropriate material from being accessible.

Any CSAM (Child Safety Abuse Material) content will be automatically removed when flagged or reported through our moderation features or if we are directly contacted for this purpose. We will systematically take action to report confirmed CSAM content to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

CSAM consists of any visual depiction, including but not limited to photos, videos and computer-generated imagery, involving the use of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.

Our app is committed to protecting user data, especially for children under 13, in compliance with applicable regulations.

Our app does not include ads or monetized content.

Validation and updates
Regular internal testing is conducted to ensure compliance with Google Play’s child safety standards, including functionality reviews and content audits.

Policies are reviewed quarterly or as required to align with updated child safety standards.

‍The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If discovered, such data will be deleted.Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian permission to use the App.
