Steve Salem joined the Baltimore-based Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation as its President and CEO in March of 2006.  In this capacity, Steve has helped take the organization from a $1M operating budget to more than $30M annually. He has overseen the development of the CRSF National Board of Directors; its national fundraising and program development plan, including its nationally recognized Badges for Baseball program, and its Youth Development Park & STEM Center initiatives.

In his volunteer capacity, Steve serves on the Boards of Directors of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and the National Police Athletic League.

Steve and his wife Gregg currently reside in Gaithersburg, MD. Their twin boys, Alex and Jake, are grown and out of the nest.
