Jessica Sandoval
Mission Advancement Regional Director of South Africa

I am a wife and mother of two beautiful girls, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. For more than 20 years, I have dedicated my career to working with at-risk and high-needs youth across various age groups from early childhood through young adulthood. As a seasoned human services leader, I have spent my career driving equitable access to essential resources for underserved communities. I am adept at building strategic partnerships, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing high-impact programs that promote long-term stability and opportunity.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice, I began my career as a Juvenile Probation Officer and later served as a Staff Development Trainer for 7½ years with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice. My work in intervention and rehabilitation gave me a deep, firsthand understanding of the importance of prevention and early support. I went on to earn an MBA in Management and Leadership and returned to New York to serve as the College and Career Director for Madison Square Boys & Girls Club at the Navy Yard Clubhouse.

Most recently, I served as the founding Director of the Bradley-Otis Boys & Girls Club in Orlando, where I had the privilege of building a world-class program and team from the ground up. We served the incredible families of West Lakes and created a culture rooted in recognizing the greatness within every young person.

Across my career, I have demonstrated success in developing emerging leaders, cultivating inclusive workplace cultures, and aligning staff performance with organizational mission and community outcomes. I am deeply committed to advancing equity, empowerment, and systemic change through innovative, client-centered approaches.

I am passionate about helping young people accomplish their goals and dreams. By nature, I am an encourager. I motivate others to apply themselves and take advantage of opportunities that strengthen their overall well-being. I have mentored and continue to mentor hundreds of young people throughout my career because I believe in investing in today’s youth to help them build the best possible tomorrow.
