Sue Foreman is a connector — of people, ideas, causes, and communities. With a background in science education, philanthropy, civic leadership, and systems thinking, she has helped launch and grow efforts in education, addiction recovery, conservation, sustainability, and justice.
She brings storytelling, humor, and curiosity to every challenge, helping teams find new clarity through systems thinking and collaborative design. A lifelong learner, Sue draws on her experience as an Imago educator and MG Taylor-trained facilitator to spark innovation and group genius — always with her favorite reminder: “Ain’t none of us as smart as all of us.”
Sue’s service has earned her numerous honors, including the Summit Award from the Women’s Resource Center, AFP’s Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser (twice), and recognition from the Greater Orlando Chamber, and Winter Park Magazine. She has served as past chair of the Valencia College Foundation, 4C and the 4C Foundation, and as a founding board member of both the Peace and Justice Institute and Mead Botanical Garden. She’s also active in the League of Women Voters of Orange County.
A proud University of Florida Gator, Sue applies her love of technology and design to websites, photography, and community campaigns — often arriving with the most camera equipment and a joyful laugh. She and Steve were married for over 64 years and raised two children, Karen and Doug, building a life rooted in recovery, service, and purpose.
