Board Member Beau Bridges Welcomes Fleet Week Aboard the Eagle

California, USA

In honor of Memorial Day, WYC Board Member and U.S. Coast Guard veteran Beau Bridges joined his family for a special celebration aboard the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Barque Eagle, “America’s Tall Ship.” On May 23, 2025, Beau hosted an exclusive reception with the National Coast Guard Museum Association at the Port of Long Beach to recognize the museum’s progress and welcome service members to Fleet Week.

Beau’s father, Lloyd Bridges, the legendary actor, also served in the U.S. Coast Guard. Known not only for his acting career but also for his philanthropy and work with the CARE organization, Lloyd’s dedication to giving back has had a lasting influence on Beau and his brother Jeff, who also served in the Coast Guard.

Beau was proud to reconnect with the maritime community and help honor the men and women in uniform. Events like this not only reflect Beau’s continued commitment to service but also offer a meaningful glimpse into the personal stories of our Board Members—stories we’re excited to share and celebrate.
