Ernie Hudson joins World Youth Clubs as a Global Ambassador

World Youth Clubs is pleased to announce Ernie Hudson as its newest World Youth Clubs Global Ambassador following his involvement as a judge for the 2025 Promise Awards.

Hudson is best known for his role as Winston Zeddemore in the Ghostbusters film franchise and has appeared in numerous films and television series, including The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, Miss Congeniality, and HBO’s Oz. Beyond his work on screen, Hudson has long been an advocate for youth and community-focused initiatives.

“I’m honored to support the mission of World Youth Clubs and the important work being done to provide young people with safe, supportive spaces,” Hudson said.

Hudson joins Beau Bridges, Karl-Anthony Towns, Achok Majak, Lewis Richardson, Retief Goosen, and Dr. Mona Dixon as a Global Ambassador.

Global Ambassadors utilize their networks, visibility, and influence to advance World Youth Clubs’ mission, becoming advocates for youth empowerment. By lending their voices, they engage diverse audiences, attract essential resources, and elevate the profile of Affiliate Clubs. Their efforts in raising awareness and inspiring collective support are vital to enhancing World Youth Clubs’ capacity to create meaningful change in the lives of young people across the globe.
