The Power of STEM Education with the Boys & Girls Club of Ghana
The Boys & Girls Club of Ghana proudly celebrated the fifth anniversary of its annual World Youth Clubs Mathematics and Science Quiz Competition (MSQ)! Generously supported by local partners and World Youth Clubs, the event brought together bright young minds from across Ghana for a thrilling final round at the United Faith Reformed Church in Anomabo.
Under the theme “Unlocking the Future with Science and Mathematics: The Power Behind Tomorrow,” youth competitors, local guest speakers, and municipal leaders highlighted the life-changing potential of STEM education in shaping tomorrow’s innovators and problem-solvers.
In addition to the spirited competition, the Club presented five awards honoring schools and individuals who exemplify excellence, teamwork, and volunteerism. Special recognition was given to:
- All-Girls Team Participation Award: WYC-MSQ Competition 2025
- Newcomer Achievement Award
- Four-Time Finalists Award
- Volunteerism Award
- The BGCGA-MSQ Team
- BGCGA-BECE Sensitization Team
Launched to address the growing need for STEM education, the WYC MSQ Competition equips young people with critical problem-solving and mathematical skills — empowering them to step confidently into the future.
