Welcome to the newest additions to the World Youth Clubs global network: Camp Sizanani Life Skills in South Africa and Asela Youth & Community Center in Ethiopia!

Camp Sizanani was founded in 2003 by Phil Lilienthal as an outbranch of Global Camps Africa dedicated to empowering South Africa’s orphaned, vulnerable, and at-risk youth by equipping them with essential life skills and education. Since opening its first camp in 2004, Camp Sizanani has grown to include free weekend and holiday programs, three yearly residential camps, and a growing psychosocial team. In a world where traditional education often overlooks critical life skills, Camp Sizanani steps in to bridge the gap, preparing young people for a future where youth can thrive, lead, and break the cycle of poverty.

The recently established Asela Youth & Community Center is dedicated to supporting youth in Ethiopia and is working towards supporting youth academic success through tutoring services.

As WYC Affiliates, they join a growing movement of youth clubs around the world that are committed to empowering young people.
